Since 2017, the ICGC has been part of the Voluntary Agreements Program for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (GEH), an initiative promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya through the Catalan Office for Climate Change.

This program, which has been running since 2010, offers tools, support and recognition to those organizations that, on a voluntary basis, want to establish a firm commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change. The affiliated entities undertake to monitor their GEH emissions annually and to implement specific measures to reduce them.

On May 29, the ICGC received recognition as an organization committed to reducing GEH emissions, within the framework of the recognition ceremony for organizations affiliated to the program, held by the Catalan Office for Climate Change.

This recognition adds to a consolidated track record of environmental commitment. Since 2009, through the Infrastructure and Maintenance Unit, we have continuously promoted actions aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of our activities, with special attention to saving and efficiency in the consumption of electrical energy. These initiatives are part of a global sustainability strategy that remains active and in constant evolution.

By adhering to the Voluntary Agreements Program, we consolidate our will to reduce the environmental impact and promote responsible management aligned with the objectives of sustainable development.
